Tasting Notes:
Has the "nose" of a wine ever made your mouth water? Shortly after smelling the aromas of The Pass, I immediately fell in love. If you have been following TJ Tuesday for any amount of time, you know I have had some hits and misses. Closing my eyes and smelling the wine brought back memories of running through the grass barefooted, catching lightning bugs (which PS- I still do- I just don't put them in a jar) and staying up WAY too late having heart to heart talks with some of my favorite girls. Isn't it amazing how smells can evoke so many memories?
Once I took my first sip, I noticed tropical fruit and citrus notes with almost a fresh cut grass finish. New Zealand is known for their Sauvignon Blancs and this one did not disappoint. I've noted some other tastings observations below.
Pale Yellow/Golden Color
Light Body
Medium - High Acidity ( Definitely on the higher side)
Fresh/Crisp
Notes of lime, tropical fruit (specifically pineapple)
Grassy finish
