Confession: I am one of those individuals who’s guilty of having at least 95% of my Christmas decorations up before Thanksgiving. Quite frankly, I can’t remember the last time we enjoyed turkey without a side of tinsel. But, In my defense, I come by it honestly. My mom has a penchant for decorating and goes all out when it comes to the holidays. Growing up, we always had themed trees sprinkled throughout the house.
Mexico City is one of those places where deciding where you want to eat turns into a full-blown existential crisis. How does one choose between following the hypnotic swirl of al pastor on a spit or the sizzle of a street-side quesadilla?
